Bioswales are examples of green building as in order to build a rain garden, the curb has to first be extended out. To do this, the concrete has to be excavated, filled with eco material such as geo-textile, stones, and engineered soil. Once this process is complete, gardening can then take place. Plants are inserted and an inlet is placed allowing rain water to enter sewer systems offsetting the volume of fluid entering treated sewer water. The benefits are then improved water quality, creating a more habitable city.
